Why in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday.....?
Well Nick (mclarni) and myself (Andy - soundcatcher) realised that we couldn’t get along to our local clubs meetings as they were mid week in the evening due to our work commitments and the fact that I have 4 small children. So over a pint we decided that it might be a good idea to have a meeting open to all on a weekend so that people with families and others who are busy during the week can get together. So that was settled all we needed was a venue and a day and time! Sounds like a cue to visit a few pubs and check out the bar, car park and sample their beer. We decided rather selfishly that we would only look at pubs in the Horsham and Crawley area as that’s near to where we both lived (Nick’s since moved...typical!) Anyway...after visiting many pubs and finding that the car parks were too small, small seating area’s or the landlord’s didn’t want the business we stumbled upon The Hornbrook Inn Horsham. It’s got a great sized car park, lots of seats, nice bar staff, good food and they were very happy for us to take over the place once a month.

Well by around 3 o’clock most of the punters are finishing off their lunches and leaving which makes some space for us!
